In our unique world of volunteer service, it is so admirable and inspiring to know that we are in the company of people who do not seek glory nor fame in their service to humanity, but instead takes personal pride and fulfillment in knowing that their contributions and support to the programs of our organization go a long way in serving our fellowmen.

Through giving, we derive true and unparalleled fulfillment from knowing that our contributions go to programs that touch people’s lives in our communities and around the world. This is the reward we get, and nothing can be better than pure happiness that feeds the soul.

The Rotary Foundation is a non-profit corporation that supports the efforts of Rotary International to achieve world understanding and peace through international humanitarian, educational, and cultural exchange programs. It is supported solely by voluntary contributions from Rotarians and friends of the Foundation who share its vision of a better world.

Contributions to The Rotary Foundation’s Annual Programs Fund is the primary source of funding for a broad range of local and international Rotary Foundation activities. Contributions to the Annual Fund are invested for three years. After this time 50% goes to the district as District Designated Funds (DDF) to use for district grants and 50% goes to the World Fund for Global Grants.

The Rotary Foundation global grants offer clubs and districts opportunities to participate in strategically focused and high-impact activities. These grants fund large scale international projects that have sustainable and measurable outcomes in one or more of Rotary’s Areas of Focus: Peace and Conflict Prevention/Resolution, Disease Prevention and Treatment, Water and Sanitation, Maternal and Child Health, Basic Education and Literacy, Economic and Community Development, and Support the Environment.

Keeping this in mind and the priceless role we play in securing the future of Rotary, Rotarians of District 3810 led by District Governor Robert T. Koa set a total giving goal of US$350,000.00 to The Rotary Foundation this RY2021-2022. And it is our goal for all clubs of District 3810 to participate in The Rotary Foundation plans and programs this Rotary Year 2021-2022.
