LCP Art Rosaroso
Arturo P. Rosaroso Jr, the Life Changing President of Rotary Club of Imus, together with Rotary Club of Makati Ayala Triangle, recently turned over two hand washing facilities to Governor D. M. Camerino Integrated School to promote cleanliness and proper hygiene among students and one handwashing facility to Barangay Mariano Espeleta 1 for the benefit of the community.
The knowledge that the school doesn’t have enough washing facility for the students as expressed by the school officials urged the club to generate funds that would support the construction of new hand washing facilities. This wash in school and community project is funded through the Rotary Foundation District Grant applied by LCP Art.
With the support of Rotarians, this activity was successfully fulfilled by Rotary Club of Imus headed by LCP Arturo Rosaroso and LCP Precy Yulo, RC Makati Ayala Triangle. LCP Noemi Fernando; LCP Matt Caparas; LCP Lhet Mapalad, RC Makati Southwest; LCP Noemi Begino, RC Makati Bonifacio; LCP Eric Zuniga, RC Parañaque Metro South , RC.Makati Salcedo JP Bunag; LCP Matt Caparas. RC Vancouver Mountainvies ; and RCC LA PAZ Pres. Hazel Esteban and members were present to grace the event.
Carmelita Orit, a teacher from GDMCIS said that the school really appreciates for the big help of providing two handwashing facilities as a form of support to the schools’ Brigada Eskwela 2021.
Principals Jess Bergado and Raffy Santos are grateful to the big help that the club has extended to the school which will benefit all the learners of GDMCIS.
The barangay officials of Brgy. Espeleta 1 are equally grateful to the club for the provision of wash in the community facility which is expected to promote the benefits of washing hands to one’s health most especially now that we are in the pandemic times when the source of illness could easily be transmitted even by just holding or touching contaminated materials.
