His ascent to the highest district position is because of his hard work, patience, and perseverance as a Rotarian.  In his first year as a Rotarian in RY 2004-2005, he became RC Bagumbayan Manila’s outstanding Rookie Rotarian of the Year and earned the honor the 100% in Attendance Award.  On his second year in Rotary, he was elected as the club’s President Nominee and become club President for RY 2007-2008.

He received numerous club and district awards including the following:

  • Leadership by example in Membership Development

  • Presidential Service Above Self Platinum Award
  • First Royce Abbey Award in the Philippines and in RID 3810

His love for Rotary service and active involvement and participation especially in the affairs of the district and its concerns led him to be appointed in different district positions namely Assistant Governor, Senior Deputy Governor for Programs, Chief of Staff, and District Secretary.

A devoted head of the family, he believes that, “The love of a family is life’s greatest blessing.” He is a loving husband to his beloved Ann Arlene and a protective father to their four successful and accomplished children, who like him considers family as the most valuable relationship among all.

Our Life-Changing  Governor Robert Koa dreams of a better year ahead for Rotary Service and its District Rotarians despite the pandemic.  Now on almost half of the term for his district leadership, he has delivered worthwhile and life-changing services and Rotary projects with the help of his team and Life-Changing Presidents for the community which need it most.

It is his hope to have happy  and unified Rotarians who provide the best service projects to exemplify
