As the beginning of a new and vibrant leadership, the Rotary Club of Cavite Aguinaldo has created a program that is not new but will never become obsolete and will always remain necessary to those in need. We are not ignorant of the difficulties of life, so I am happy, and I have been given the opportunity to lead a program that can help even in a small way.
Last July1, RC Cavite Aguinaldo launched a feeding program titled “Feeding Program ni Payang” which was held at Buna Lejos,II, Indang, Cavite. About 20 children benefited from the said program and there would have been more if it had not rained. Nothing can stop us from helping, especially those Rotarians who have participated in the program, namely Rtn.Nikka Lipnica, Rtn. Christopher Rantael, and Charter President Evelyn Dominguez
Meanwhile, that project doesn’t end there but that is where it all starts. We have affected by the pandemic for more than a year, so it is important to maintain the physical strength of our neighbors. Few days later we distributed vitamins in the town of Noveleta, Brgy. San Rafael IV with yours truly and the great help of Brgy. Capt. Ruth Samartino.
Health protocols were strictly observed during the activity. We practiced social distancing and wore face mask. The Rotarians who worked on this project and made this possible where LCP Beth Jeen Cinco Estrella, Rtn. Romeo Benitez, CP Atty Evelyn Dominguez, Rtn. Flor Sico, Rtn. Antonio Vilses, Rtn. Heide Paginag, Rtn. Nikka Lipnica, Rtn. Ace Paginag, and Rtn. Sgt. Romy Nocon.
On the other hand, we also conducted our Club Planning and Awarding. What a joy to feel and excitement, that’s what I said to myself!
Last June 26 at SPECIALE Hotel, the most important opportunity happened to a Club President, which is the Club Planning and Turnover Ceremonies. I know in myself that it is a big challenge
to be a president of an organization especially like Rotary. There are many trials and even test your intellect and talent, but I accept these challenges.
The club planning was successfully held because of the members who are very supportive and gave powerful ideas, so that all the plans will come to reality in coming days. From this point, I saw and felt the concern and appreciation of each member.
On the first day of the club meeting, we were lucky because we were visited by SDG Sonny Mercado as a guest of honor and to witness the awarding of certificates. I also took the opportunity to pay tribute to our ast president for her leadership and services, IPP Rosalie Benjo Duque, as well as the Rotarians who participated actively and worked hard for the project.
