Rotary Club of Dasmariñas
“A fruitful year will start from a successful planning.”
For the Rotary Club of Dasmariñas Cavite (RCDC), the change of command from the Transformational to the Life-Changing teams is just a name change. With the active participation of its members, the Club continuously accomplishes many things and is eager to serve more people in need, guided by this year’s theme: Serve to Change Lives.
Pandemic is not a hindrance but a challenge to every Rotarian. Notwithstanding its adverse effects on our businesses and profession, we Rotarians are still willing to support the cause of Rotary with whatever little is left to us. Last year, we expected to feel the impact of the pandemic. Nevertheless, the RCDC family supported the Club by proposing worthy projects and The Rotary Foundation with generous pledges.
For this Rotary Year, the Club is set to accomplish projects in all Areas of Focus, promote Rotary through its various public relations projects, and increase quality membership. More importantly, we will prioritize friendship between old members, new members, and our families. While taking full consideration of the minimum public health protocol, the Club will endeavor to accomplish not only one but two “One Time Bigtime Projects” this year.
RCDC’s Club Planning was held on June 5, 2021 at Casa Yssabel Resort in Amuntay, Dasmariñas, Cavite. Following IATF protocols on physical distancing and other safety measures, we ensured that the Club Planning was very engaging and promising while taking all the precautions.
During the Club Planning, the goal of the membership is the goal of the club. And the goal of the club becomes the goal of the President. As Life-Changing Presidents, we should not impose our goals on our clubs. Instead, we should let club goals be our objectives in helping people.
Under the new leadership, the Club and its members have a lot in store for the coming Rotary Year. We are ready to create the changes that will truly impact our fellow Filipinos’ lives.
Challenging as it may seem, RCDC can still empower, lead, serve, change, and continue reaching our communities with our well-established goals and determination.
