RCP Business District headed a signature project, “Bayanihan Para sa Paaralan” at Epifanio De Los Santos Elementary School, which is located at a challenged area where most of the students are living near the Tripa de Galina River.  DepEd public schools will begin classes on September 13. Monday that’s why we immediately executed the event as originally planned on September 27. Last September 11, we gave storybooks in English and Filipino to support the Brigada Pagbasa campaign for the students. We also provided anti-covid packs for the students such as face shields, facemasks, soaps, and alcohol. We provided school supplies, bread, milk and medicine, mineral water and grocery packs for the children. Likewise, we invited two resource speakers on different talks on livelihood projects for parents.

Every year we are doing this kind of event to help the precious and caring students. A timely event when a lot of parents are struggling very hard to make a living. We are so blessed to help them as we were given a chance to have served and somehow changed lives. God is good and the more we give the more we receive. We hope in this kind of act, we can make a big impact on economic and community development with a smile.

I wish to thank some of my fellow LCPs who helped us to make this project possible in just two weeks of preparation. I am also thankful to AG Rey Daño who was very supportive in this endeavor, to my RCP Business District family and of course to the ever-supportive teachers.
