A total of 5000 slots of COVID-19 vaccination shots have been given by Rotary Club of Imus in the Bida ang may Bakuna of project of City Government of Imus.
LCP Arturo P. Rosaroso Jr. coordinated with Imus City Mayor Emannuel L. Maliksi to get vaccination slots and bridge for DepEd Imus City riders, delivery riders, community, home owners association, civic and non-government organization members. This action is the club’s way of taking part to the big vaccination campaign of the City of Imus to reach the goal of immunizing the Imuseños.
The vaccination administered across the barangays may not totally stop the pandemic and the goal of halting the pandemic remains elusive, but the clubs’ participation to the campaign increased the numbers of vaccinated Imuseños.
The club members distributed 100-200 slots each day as coordinated with the vaccination centers. They also assist in ensuring that safety in the center by making sure that everybody is observing minimum health protocol imposed by Inter-Agency Task Force (IAATF) and keeping the Imuseño Protektado.
